Beatifier: Beginner's stickman tutorial (bases?)

Beatifier presents: Beginner's stickman tutorial
Note: If you do not know how to make stickfigures/how to use the editor, please check PyroPivot's stick editor basics tutorial before reading this.

Step 1. The body
First, open the stick editor by clicking "edit".
Then, start by making the body. I made two back joints, but if you want you can make more. The upper joint is slightly shorter than the lower one.


Step 2. The legs
Now make two legs with two joints and if you want (i prefer doing so) you can add 'shoes'. Notice that it looks much better if the second joint of the leg is longer than the first joint. (look at the picture)


Step 3. The hands
Make two hands, with the second joint little bit shorter than the first joint. This is something you have to take attention with: The hands must be longer than the body, but shorter than the legs. See the picture below.


Final step: The head and pose (not necessary)
Now you'll probably want the head? You will need to make the neck too.
There are two head styles and both have their own ways to make.

Step 4a. Empty head
First make a neck. It's simple. Just make a short line and make it thinner than the other body.
Then, make a head you want. Note that you will have to make the head thicker so just test stuff and take the one you want.


Step 4b. Filled head
The filled head is little more complex, but still pretty simple. Watch 4a. for how to make the neck and the head outlines. Now that you have the empty head, let's fill it.
First do a little thin line and put it static.

Then, make a ball that fills the whole head and make it static too.

Then just select a good pose and you're finished! My character:
